Some people divide conference chairs from executive chairs. We have a staff with over a collective century of experience with office seating, but we are still baffled by that division, since both types share the exact same characteristics: they have to be comfortable, great-looking and have intuitive adjustments. Another division separates task chairs from conference chairs. Two things are often key. First, task chairs often have more adjustments than conference chairs. Second, conference chairs often are a bit more impressive in appearance, but that's not necessarily the case. Our point is: Many task chairs work just as well as "conference chairs" in a conference room. You may also want to see the Task Chairs. We promise we won't tell anyone if you use task chairs in your conference room! Some prefer non-swivel chairs in the conference area. If that's your preference, we recommend the Guest and Side Chairs. Perhaps you want to be able to put the chairs away after conferences or training sessions. Then you may like our Stacking Chairs. The point is: A Conference Chair is the chair you have in your conference area. An Executive Chair is the chair an executive is sitting in. There are no hard rules; each situation is different.
