Ah, the benefits of Civilization! We have been in offices where we had to move the occupant's coat off the guest chair in order to sit down. Where do you move it? Do you leave it on the back of your chair? Do you just sit down on it? Do you throw it in the floor? There's no good answer. There's also really no good reason not to provide every office with a method of hanging up coats. Coat trees and hooks come in a variety of styles and costs, but every one of them does about the same job and they don't really cost that much. Think of them as one of the little amenities of civilization, like Fire. Not absolutely necessary in many parts of the world, but appreciated everywhere.
