The Alto wind chime from Music of the Spheres ®, Inc. is 50" long from the knot to the wind catcher. It uses 1 1/2" diameter tubing and weighs 11 pounds. These sound beautiful all by themselves or you can mix selected tunings and sizes and they will overlap and harmonize. We recommend that when you mix tunings, you do so with either the same size or with only one step in-between. For instance, if you're getting an Alto as part of an ensemble, you would either get a second Alto or the next step up, a Tenor, or the next size smaller, a Mezzo.
